  I always felt that children that had extra talents/gifts, lived a previous life.

  This painter, makes me think the same thing, that he had a previous life.

  So, we ask, how do you know how long these poles should be as they recede? I was taught, he says. Not by any formal teacher, but by casual comments by friends and acquaintances. How do you know about shadows? He learned that too. He confides that for a long time he figured that if an object was red, its shadow would be red too. "But I was told it wasn't," he says. But how do you know about red? He knows that there's an important visual quality to seen objects called "colour" and that it varies from object to object. He's memorised what has what colour and even which ones clash.

  He learnt from others. Nothing to suggest a previous life experience there.

  When I was in, I would have thought something like 'Those bitter and twisted appostates are showing a complete lack of respect for Jesus on this important occasion.' It would be just one more reason to reject whatever it was they were trying to achieve.

  im an atheist and i like the idea of being an athiest but its kinda hard

  im an atheist and i like the idea that comes with freedom of though and analytical thinking that follows being atheistic vs having a religion im just kinda in a jam because i need to try and find something to completely lose the thoughts in the back of my head that say what if im wrong and i "suffer" because of it.

  i feel that if i can find something to destroy these thoughts i can be alot more comfortable with my views and opinions.

  anyone have any thoughts on what i should do.
